Why join us?

📊 Real impact – We help doctors help patients. Your work truly makes a difference.

📈 At scale, yet agile – 3,000+ employees, but still fast, flexible, and hands-on.

✨ Shape the future, sustain growth – Make a difference now and build for long-term success.

Job Description

Leading the analytics team

  • Manage and grow a team of 2-3 analysts: organise workload, set priorities, and keep a healthy pace using agile ways of working (sprints, backlog, clear intake)

  • Coach analysts to grow technically and professionally; hold them accountable for quality and impact, not just output

  • Coordinate and align with stakeholders, both global and local, ensuring the team's work lands where it matters most

AI-first team & tooling

  • Coach and upskill the team to work AI-first; using AI to query, code, and analyse faster and more consistently

  • Set the foundations for this to scale: shared libraries, reusable code, and architecture (e.g. GitHub-based repositories) so AI-first practices are systematised, not dependent on individual habits

Driving analytics for Individual Doctors & Clinics

  • Partner directly with the VP of Individual Doctors and the VP of Clinics to understand their businesses, identify gaps, and surface opportunities

  • Lead deep dives that go beyond describing what happened to explain why, and what to do about it

  • Propose, run, and analyse experiments (A/B tests and beyond) that inform business decisions

Data models & dashboards

  • Build and maintain data models and automations that scale across all 13 markets

  • Build dashboards in Looker and/or Tableau that non-technical stakeholders can actually use to make decisions

  • Keep the team's outputs consistent with BI's dashboard and data standards, escalating gaps rather than working around them

Bridging business and data teams

  • Act as the translation layer between business needs (VP of Individual Doctors, VP of Clinics) and Docplanner's data organisation: BI, Data Platform, and Product Analytics

  • Bring the right requirements to each team, and push back respectfully when scope or timelines don't match business priority

  • Go deeper into a specific market when local teams need dedicated analytical support

AI-generated insights

  • Build and maintain the interpretation layer between our data systems and end users, turning metrics and models into AI-generated insights people can act on, not just more data to read

  • Surface market performance insights from our metrics and models, and deliver them directly to senior stakeholders in a clear, decision-ready format

Qualifications

What will help you thrive?

  • Degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar)

  • +5 years of relevant analytics experience, including +1-2 years leading analysts

  • Very good SQL skills (BigQuery preferred); Python is a plus

  • Proven experience designing and maintaining automations and scalable data models. Setting up or scaling AI-first ways of working for a data/analytics team (e.g. AI-assisted querying and coding, shared prompt or code libraries, reusable architecture in GitHub or similar)

  • Skilled at digesting complex data into business language able to summarise findings and frame them as a clear narrative, not just a report, for senior non-technical audiences

  • Hands-on experience with Looker and/or Tableau, building dashboards for non-technical audiences

  • Working knowledge of basic statistical modelling and concepts such as regression analysis and A/B testing

  • Experience working cross-functionally, partnering with non-technical stakeholders across departments

  • Professional fluency in English (Spanish is a plus)

  • Based in Madrid or Barcelona is ideal, this is a remote-first team with most colleagues based in Spain.

What makes you a fit

  • Strategic, structured thinker who breaks down complex, abstract problems (business or technical) into logical components and solves them at the root

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driven by results

  • Understands the capabilities and limitations of AI/LLMs and has experience building things (professionally or for your own), and can translate technical concepts into business impact for senior leadership

  • An owner with an entrepreneurial mindset: you own your work, your results, and everything in between

  • Track record of scoping complex problems, running high-quality quantitative analysis, and developing insights that drive decisions

  • Able to prioritise effectively and lead multiple project workstreams concurrently

  • Builds trust across a wide range of stakeholders; communicates complex concepts simply and clearly

Extra advantage

  • Experience in tech companies and/or start-ups and consultancy

  • No prior experience in healthcare or SaaS required, but curiosity about both is essential.

What to Expect from Our Hiring Process

We like to keep things transparent and efficient! Here’s what the process usually looks like (though it might vary slightly depending on the role):

1️⃣ Intro Chat – A first call with our Talent Partner Ashleigh Watson-Hill to explore mutual fit around relevant skills, value alignment, and motivation.

2️⃣ Hiring Manager Interview – A deeper conversation about your background, aspirations, and experience with Andreu Passola Parcerissa and your potential manager in this role. Take this chance to ask anything on your mind - it’s just as much about making sure we’re the right fit for you, too.

3️⃣ Stakeholder Interview – A conversation with a senior leader from the Global Customer Success team to get a sense of how you might collaborate together and to explore team fit.

4️⃣ Technical Interview – A "live" exercise and working discussion with a member of the team.

5️⃣ Business Case – A take-home exercise incl. a few days' preparation time, designed to understand how you approach real-life problems. You’ll then walk us through your approach in a collaborative discussion with the hiring manager + peers to discuss your thoughts and findings.
