About this role

The Global Head of Flow Business is a senior commercial leadership role reporting to The Global Head of Digital Product and Technology. The position is responsible for defining, driving, and executing the global commercial and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Flow across all markets and segments. This role is also responsible for CRM and customer lifecycle management. 

The role ensures that the digital Flow proposition is translated into commercially viable, scalable, and market-adopted offerings worldwide. Operating across a federated model, this position provides enterprise-wide commercial leadership by aligning, prioritizing, and influencing commercial, product, market, and functional stakeholders. The Global Head of Flow Business works in close partnership with the Global Head of Digital Products and the Head of Technology & Engineering to ensure tight alignment between product development and overarching commercial objectives.

The global head of flow business will be leading teams of Flow product owners/ squads across markets in a federated model aligned with global digital model. 

 

Role Purpose

The Global Head of Flow Business defines and leads the commercial vision, GTM strategy, pricing frameworks, and value realization model for the Flow Value Stream across all geographies.

The primary objective is to convert the digital Flow proposition into sustainable revenue growth, optimized profitability, and scalable vendor and partner engagement across diverse business units. The incumbent ensures that Flow remains commercially differentiated, effectively positioned, and highly responsive to customer and partner needs globally.

Through collaboration with markets, this role operationalizes product capabilities into actionable commercial frameworks that drive adoption, growth, and resilience within agreed global guardrails. Success requires leadership through influence, cross-functional alignment, and a disciplined focus on measurable commercial outcomes.

 

Your Mission

 

1. Commercial Vision, Strategy, and Go-to-Market

  • Commercial Ownership: Assume full commercial ownership of the Flow business across all global markets and segments.
  • Strategic Evolution: Define and continuously evolve the commercial vision and GTM strategy for the Flow Value Stream in alignment with DLL’s strategic growth and resilience ambitions.
  • Targeted Propositions: Translate the Flow proposition into clear, scalable commercial offerings tailored to specific customer, partner, and vendor segments.
  • Market Adoption: Accelerate market positioning, digital adoption, and revenue growth across all operating territories.
  • Outcome-Driven Investment: Ensure commercial priorities and investments are rigorously guided by measurable metrics, including revenue growth, margin expansion, adoption rate, and scalability.

2. Commercial Frameworks & Pricing

  • Guardrail Definition: Establish global pricing frameworks and commercial guardrails for the Flow Value Stream.
  • Balanced Execution: Maintain consistency in pricing logic across segments while authorizing necessary local differentiation to protect market agility.
  • Risk & Portfolio Management: Balance growth, risk, and profitability through disciplined portfolio management and margin optimization.
  • Journey Integration: Partner with product, risk, and operations stakeholders to embed automated pricing logic seamlessly into digital Flow journeys and operating models.

3. Performance and Value Realization

  • P&L Optimization: Drive and optimize the global commercial performance of Flow, directly managing revenue, margins, and cost-to-serve.
  • Value Driver Identification: Identify and leverage key value drivers that influence profitability and scalability across different business segments.
  • Sustainable Outcomes: Ensure the Flow proposition contributes to long-term, measurable business outcomes at the global enterprise level.
  • Target Cascading: Translate global commercial strategy into actionable performance targets and tracking mechanisms for regional markets.

4. Vendor, Partner, and Market Value Proposition

  • Ecosystem Development: Develop scalable, differentiated vendor and partner propositions within the Flow ecosystem.
  • Partner Economics: Optimize vendor profitability and partner economics, ensuring robust and mutually beneficial business cases across digital networks.
  • Journey Alignment: Align commercial propositions closely with vendor and partner operational journeys and ecosystem requirements.
  • Future-State Modeling: Define and implement future optimal business models that strengthen Vendor Finance capabilities.

5. Product & Value Stream Leadership Alignment

  • Strategic Counterpart: Act as the primary commercial peer to the Global Head of Digital Products and the Head of Technology & Engineering.
  • Market-Led Input: Provide structured, data-driven input into product strategy and prioritization matrices based on market demand and value potential.
  • Commercial Validation: Ensure that digital product roadmaps accurately reflect commercial realities and market needs across business units, without directly owning product development or technical delivery.

6. Stakeholder Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Lead collaboration across commercial, market, product, risk, operations, and technology communities.
  • Trade-Off Management: Build consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities, facilitating clear trade-offs between growth, profitability, customer value, and operational feasibility.
  • Strategic Bridge: Act as the senior connector bridging global commercial ambitions with local market execution realities.
  • Functional Leadership: Provide hierarchical leadership, performance management, and talent development for dedicated Flow product roles located in the markets and at the group level.

7. Change Leadership

  • Commercial Adoption: Drive organizational adoption and market commercialization of the Flow proposition.
  • Model Transition: Lead the business transition toward modern commercial models, updated pricing methodologies, and digital-first GTM strategies.
  • Feedback Loops: Support regional implementation through clear communication, defined performance metrics, and continuous feedback loops to refine commercial approaches.

8. CRM

  • Orchestration Platform: Drive the shift from a hard-coded platform to composable orchestration. Move towards an AI-native, composable customer data and orchestration platform. 
  • Customer Centricity: Lead governance for customer strategy, customer data, customer experience, customer interaction, customer and product catalog.
  • CRM Roadmap: Provide leadership to drive 3-horizon roadmap aligned with Digital Strategy.

9. Customer Lifecycle Management

  • Seamless Journey: Lead the mapping and harmonizing of customer lifecycle touchpoints to enable hyper personalized engagement and seamless journey continuity across all channels.
  • Flow: Support the flow digital 3-horizon roadmap to reach one cohesive flow across the full lifecycle

 

Accountability

  • Accountable for defining and maintaining a clear commercial vision, GTM strategy, and value realization model for the Flow Value Stream globally.
  • Accountable for ensuring that the digital Flow proposition is commercially viable, scalable, and adopted across all target markets.
  • Accountable for the establishment of global pricing frameworks, commercial propositions, and future business models for Flow.
  • Accountable for driving top-line revenue growth, margin performance, and the overall commercial success of Flow on a global scale.
  • Accountable for vendor and partner value propositions, ensuring they contribute positively to profitability across markets.
  • Accountable for driving structural alignment between commercial strategy and product development through active cross-functional collaboration.
  • Accountable for global commercial outcomes and market performance, without direct accountability for product engineering or technical delivery.

  • Commercial Leadership: Proven track record of defining and executing global GTM strategies within complex business models.
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of pricing architecture, deal economics, and global P&L management, including profitability and cost-to-serve drivers.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to translate market data and trends into decisive commercial strategies.
  • Influence & Negotiation: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to lead and influence across a matrixed, global organization.
  • Global-Local Balancing: Ability to operate fluidly across global and local contexts, balancing the drive for standardization with localized market requirements.
  • Agility & Ambiguity Management: Ability to manage ambiguity and create structured clarity within rapid digital transformation and growth environments.
  • Industry Expertise: Experience in financial services, asset finance, or vendor-driven business ecosystems is highly desirable.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree or equivalent professional executive experience.
  • Leadership Experience: Significant experience in commercial strategy, business leadership, or related global executive roles.
  • People Management: Proven experience in managing and developing cross-functional and matrixed global teams.
  • Domain Expertise: Demonstrated track record of delivering global commercial results, pricing frameworks, and P&L impact within financial services, B2B vendor finance, or asset finance ecosystems.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
