The Role
As our Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring the hotel's facilities, equipment, guest rooms, and public spaces are maintained to the highest standards. You will support the Chief Engineer in leading the maintenance team, managing preventive maintenance programs, and responding to operational needs to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and team assignments
Perform and oversee repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building systems
Assist in the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs
Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
Support emergency repairs and respond promptly to maintenance-related issues
Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards
Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and repair documentation
Monitor inventory levels and order maintenance supplies and equipment as needed
Train, coach, and support maintenance team members
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, brand standards, and property procedures
Assist the Chief Engineer with departmental planning, projects, and capital improvement initiatives
Partner with other hotel departments to address operational and guest service needs

QualificationsWhat Makes You You
Previous hotel, commercial building, or facilities maintenance experience required
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building systems
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable using maintenance management systems and work-order tracking tools
Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
Ability to lift, carry, and perform the physical requirements of the position
Must be flexible to work any shifts, including holidays, weekends, evenings, and on-call hours as business needs require.
