The Role

As our Dual Assistant General Manager, you will provide operational leadership and support for both the Homewood Suites by Hilton Carle Place and SpringHill Suites by Marriott Carle Place. Reporting to the General Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day operations of both hotels, ensuring outstanding guest service, team engagement, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

You'll serve as a key leader for hotel departments, support property initiatives, and help ensure both hotels consistently achieve brand standards and business objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assist in leading the daily operations of the Homewood Suites by Hilton Carle Place and SpringHill Suites by Marriott Carle Place
Support efforts to achieve guest satisfaction, revenue, profitability, and quality goals across both properties
Foster a positive and service-driven culture that promotes employee engagement and accountability
Recruit, train, coach, and develop hotel team members and department leaders
Ensure compliance with Hilton and Marriott brand standards, company policies, and operational procedures
Monitor guest feedback and implement action plans to enhance the guest experience
Support departmental operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other hotel functions as applicable
Assist in managing labor costs, expenses, and overall financial performance
Conduct property inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence
Help oversee safety, security, and risk management programs
Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives
Handle guest concerns and service recovery situations with professionalism and urgency
Prepare reports, participate in management meetings, and support strategic initiatives
Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager

QualificationsWhat Makes You You

Previous hotel management experience required, preferably as an Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, or Department Leader
Experience working with Hilton, Marriott, or other major hotel brands strongly preferred
Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest service, and financial management
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Ability to analyze operational and financial performance and implement effective solutions
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Proficiency with hotel management systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools
Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence
Results-oriented with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, or a related field preferred.
Flexible to work any shifts including holidays, weekends, and evenings as business needs require.
