About this role

Quality Check Executive (Skincare & Wellness)

Dermatouch is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Check Executive to ensure product and packaging quality across skincare and wellness products. The role includes coordinating with manufacturers, checking samples, monitoring packaging standards, and maintaining quality compliance during production.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Finished Goods Physical QC:
- Inspect incoming batches for appearance, leakage, sealing, and packaging defects
- Perform random sampling checks
- Segregate rejected / hold / approved stock

2. COA Verification:
- Verify batch-wise COA against approved specifications
- Check parameters like pH, viscosity, actives, microbial limits
- Flag deviations and maintain records

3. Artwork & Label Compliance:
- Cross-check product details, batch info, barcode, MRP
- Identify printing errors or outdated artworks

4. Packaging Compatibility:
- Monitor leakage, discoloration, odor change, deformation
- Maintain retention samples

5. Warehouse IPQA:
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO, storage conditions
- Conduct pre-dispatch checks

6. Documentation:
- Maintain QC reports, COA logs, traceability

7. Coordination:
- Communicate with manufacturers for deviations
- Support CAPA and RCA

Requirements

Requirements:
- B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry / B.Pharm
- 2–5 years in cosmetics/pharma QC
- Experience in COA verification and packaging QC
