About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Artwork Coordinator to manage packaging artwork from initial development through final production approval.
Working closely with Product Managers, Graphics, QA, clients, and factories, this role will coordinate artwork, packaging copy, dielines, revisions, approvals, and e-proofs to ensure all materials are accurate, compliant, and completed on schedule.
The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, strong proofreading skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects, SKUs, and approval timelines simultaneously.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate Artwork Development
• Request product and packaging renderings for client review.
• Obtain packaging dielines, unprinted samples, instructions, and supporting materials from factories.
• Review dielines for product fit, orientation, and merchandising requirements.
• Create and maintain organized artwork folders and files for each project.
• Coordinate artwork development using approved copy, brand guidelines, and dielines.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Graphics to ensure artwork requirements and timelines are clearly communicated.
Manage Copy, Reviews & Approvals
• Generate and circulate packaging/romance copy for review.
• Proofread copy and artwork for spelling, grammar, product details, consistency, and accuracy.
• Send copy and artwork to clients for review and coordinate feedback and revisions.
• Circulate production artwork internally and ensure required corrections are completed.
• Track client approvals and clearly communicate approval deadlines.
• Maintain strong version control throughout all artwork revision rounds.
Coordinate Final Production Artwork
• Print artwork to scale and apply to packaging prototypes when required for review.
• Obtain and file final client artwork approvals.
• Obtain factory e-proofs and circulate to QA and Graphics for review.
• Ensure e-proofs accurately reflect final approved artwork before production.
• Send final e-proof approvals to factories.
• Maintain artwork trackers and update project status throughout the process.
• Proactively flag missing information, artwork discrepancies, approval delays, or other risks that could impact production timelines.
What You Bring
• 3+ years of experience in artwork coordination, packaging, product development, production coordination, or a related role.
• Experience within beauty, private label, consumer goods, or retail is an asset.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple artwork projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to review artwork and identify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
• Strong follow-up skills and confidence coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat/PDF artwork review.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight production deadlines.
