Unit Description
Delaware North Gaming operates Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. We offer players slots and video gaming machines, table games, poker rooms and tournaments, mobile sports betting, full-service restaurants, and own and operate the Sheraton hotel located nearby.
Responsibilities
- Perform audits of daily activity, including fills, credits, and enterprise gaming system jackpots
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and cage and accounting copies of paid jackpot and fill tickets to the accounting system and cash dispensing kiosk reports
- Prepare daily exception reports for variances and unusual activities; report to operating departments for follow-up and resolution
- Assist internal and external auditors
- Perform periodic machine audits to verify validity of machine meters
- Troubleshoot unusual EGS activity such as high and low hold percentages and jackpot
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills required
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting, audit or related experience preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially in Excel
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
- Ability to obtain and maintain state gaming license required
- Experience with a casino data system is helpful
- Problem solving skills, ability to analyze data, and ability to do a high volume of accurate work
- Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, routine database activity, and record keeping
