What you will do?
- Supervise a high-volume team in a commercial kitchen
- Monitor, prepare, and cook menu items according to guidelines, while managing food and labour costs
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus, monitor dish quality, and address any food preparation issues
- Drive team member development, motivating through effective leadership and establishing positive relationships
- Adhere to hazard analysis and critical control point, and food safety standards, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and storage areas are maintained
More about you
- Certificate in Cookery Level 3
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate is beneficial
- Experience supervising a team within a in high-volume commercial kitchen
- Experience in menu development, inventory control, and waste management
- Ability to a work a variety of shifts over a 7-day a week roster including days and nights
