About this role

Seeking a Janitorial Field Supervisor for an important contract in the Galveston area. This is a hands-on field leadership role. We need someone who can lead janitorial staff, inspect work, document completed tasks, respond to issues, support the outside team, and help make sure the property is clean, safe, and ready for the client each day. The right candidate should be dependable, organized, hands-on, and comfortable holding people accountable in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the janitorial team to ensure work is completed properly and on schedule.

Inspect buildings, parking lots, parking garages, restrooms, common areas, and exterior areas forcleanliness and safety.

Keep assigned areas clean and orderly, including heavy-duty cleaning, debris removal, trashremoval, and pressure washing as needed.

Document completed work, inspections, issues, photos, and follow-up items as required.

Train, coach, and support janitorial team members.

Communicate staffing, supply, maintenance, safety, and service issues to management.

Respond quickly to call-outs, service issues, complaints, or changing needs.

Help cover work when needed to ensure the contract is fully serviced.

Report needed repairs, equipment issues, unsafe conditions, or maintenance needs.

Ensure proper use of cleaning tools, chemicals, equipment, and pressure washing equipment.

Assist with safety and security duties, including checking areas, identifying risks, and securing doorsas needed.

Valid driver’s license.

Reliable transportation.

Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as a TWIC card,through a successful background check.

Prior janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, EVS, facilities, industrial, or related field experience.

Ability to work evenings/nights and adjust based on contract needs.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to inspect work, correct issues, and lead by example.

Dependable, professional, and willing to be hands-on.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior supervisory, lead, or shift leadership experience.

Experience working in parking lots, parking garages, exterior cleaning, or large commercialproperties.

Pressure washing experience.

Bilingual English/Spanish.

Experience managing attendance, call-outs, quality inspections, or field teams.
