Salesforce Platform Architect (m/f/d)
About this role
Tasks
- In this role, you own and evolve the Salesforce platform architecture across multiple clouds (e.g. Service, Sales, Experience, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud)
- By defining and enforcing architecture standards, design principles, and governance guardrails, you ensure a scalable and consistent platform setup
- You lead architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture as well as long-term platform strategy
- With a strong focus on scalability and performance, you optimize the platform continuously and drive technical debt management and refactoring initiatives
- You define and govern integration patterns while designing reusable components and shared platform capabilities
- In collaboration with security and compliance teams, you ensure adherence to security, data privacy, and identity management standards
- Working closely with delivery teams and DevOps, you drive CI/CD, release architecture, and AI-enabled DevOps processes, acting as the technical authority across multiple teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce environments, including multi-cloud architectures
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture patterns and enterprise-scale implementations
- Deep understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), data modeling, and integration patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and test automation
- Familiarity with security, identity, and compliance requirements within Salesforce platforms
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. System Architect and/or Application Architect) are considered a plus
- Strong communication skills in English and German, combined with a proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented working style
