About this role
- Design, configure, and deploy VMware virtualization solutions tailored to client needs.
- Administer and manage VMware vSphere infrastructure, focusing on ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
- Maintain and optimize virtual machine templates, snapshots, and clones.
- Monitor system performance, implementing optimizations for enhanced efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the VMware infrastructure.
- Implement VMware NSX for advanced network virtualization.
- Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to devise customized VMware solutions.
- Document installation procedures and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a VMware Engineer or in a similar capacity.
- Proficient in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.
- Experience with VMware NSX for network virtualization.
- Familiar with managing virtual machines, templates, and snapshots.
- Understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies for VMware environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification is a plus.
