Aquatics Facility Cleaning and Maintenance-Student Worker

Purpose/ Objective of the Role:
- The Aquatics Facility is seeking a reliable and motivated student to assist with daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the aquatics center.
- This role is ideal for students who are comfortable in aquatic environments and have an interest in facility upkeep and water quality management.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the facility
- Assist with pool vacuuming and general pool upkeep
- Monitor and help maintain proper water chemistry levels
- Support opening and closing procedures of the facility
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Provide general assistance to staff and patrons as needed
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must be a current Ohio Wesleyan University student
- Ability to swim comfortably and confidently- 500 yards easily
- Prior maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of water chemistry and pool systems strongly preferred
- Experience using pool vacuums and related equipment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
