We're recruiting an Elevator Adjuster for one of our clients, a leading engineering company providing innovative elevator and vertical transportation solutions in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adjust and test critical operating parameters, including
speed, acceleration, leveling, braking, and door operations
- Test all safety control devices, including emergency stops,
alarm bells, and governors, to ensure elevators comply with safety regulations
and building codes
- Prepare inspection reports and field test data to verify
compliance with required standards
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions
during the final testing and commissioning phase
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and
technical manuals to understand system components and perform accurate
adjustments
- Perform final electrical connections, integrate elevator
systems with building management networks, and complete the final installation
process
- Support project teams during third-party inspections, client
inspections, and consultant approvals
- Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning
activities to ensure elevators are operating safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Industrial Training Institute / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience as an Elevator Adjuster or in
elevator testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the
ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical
layout drawings, schematics, and technical documents
- Hands-on experience in installing, adjusting, testing, and
commissioning various elevator systems
- Knowledge of elevator safety standards, testing procedures,
and commissioning processes
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively
with project teams, clients, and consultants
