Junior Media Planner (m/f/d)

Amsterdam · Hybrid

About this role

Our Amsterdam team in a nutshell: We pride ourselves on being a very diverse team in terms of gender, nationality and work experience. In our team, you'll work for young, international clients looking to advertise their innovative businesses in the Netherlands and Belgium.

You'll be working in:

English (fluent), Dutch (a plus). We use Dutch in the Amsterdam office and with media partners in the Netherlands and Belgium - a great opportunity to learn the language! English is used with our colleagues in Berlin and with most clients.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Optimise (performance) TV campaigns using a planning system and our own Excel templates
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with the sales houses via phone and email, keeping them updated on the status of active campaigns and possible optimisations
  • Communicate with clients on a regular basis to inform them about campaign results and evaluations, using our reporting templates (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Buy offline media campaigns as required by the client (e.g. TV, radio, print, OOH)
  • Take on administrative tasks as needed to keep things transparent and running smoothly

Skills you'll need to succeed:

  • Proficiency in Excel and an analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You'll engage with clients and partners via video calls, phone conversations and in-person meetings
  • You love being part of a team that collaborates and shares knowledge, but also enjoy working independently and taking ownership of your projects
  • You like getting creative every now and then and know how to produce and deliver high-quality presentations

We feel that being humble is a great characteristic to have, as it keeps you open to learning. You'll definitely impress us if you're confident enough to own your mistakes and see them as a chance to grow.

Company at a glance

DCMN is the agency for Total Video Brandformance: One video strategy to scale your brand across every screen. We plan, buy and track campaigns across TV, CTV, YouTube, TikTok and DOOH – treating video as one full-funnel channel, built to drive both brand and performance. No silos. No fragmentation. Just media that moves the needle.

Founded in 2010 by Andreas Dengler and Matthias Riedl, DCMN is independent, owner-operated, and built for digital brands that play to win. Our approach is holistic – combining smart strategy, sharp media, and real-time tracking. Everything we do is driven by data, performance-focused, and designed to grow awareness and revenue in equal measure.

From our HQ in Berlin and offices in New York, Amsterdam, London and Paris, we’ve helped scale nearly 400 digital brands around the world – including HelloFresh, Ecosia, Calm, Vinted, Bike Club, Foodspring, WeightWatchers, Omio, Shopify, Butternut Box, PicNic, refurbed, Voyage Privé, TaxSlayer, Candivore, Insify, GetYourGuide, VanMoof, Deezer, Roku, Wooga, IC Markets, Müller, Idealo, Duolingo, Airalo and monday.com.

We build strategies that reach across markets. Media plans that span channels. And technology that shows exactly what’s working – and what’s not.

Today’s media landscape is fragmented. Attention is limited. Brands need more than just impressions, they need outcomes. That’s where we come in.

We are DCMN. The Total Video Brandformance agency.
