Responsibilities
(1) Promotion of Financial Planning Services and Wealth Mgt Products
- Acquire new affluent customers and identify business opportunities through cross-selling, referrals, personal business connections, etc.
- Identify customer needs through FNA to provide tailored solutions across a broad range of banking, insurance, and investment products, including investment profile reviews and portfolio management.
- Offer suitable wealth management products and services based on customer profiles, clearly explaining products and their associated risks.
- Address customer queries related to wealth management, including investment and treasury products
- Execute call activities in line with the Relationship Management Model and other sales-related duties as assigned by BM / Team lead / CM.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales and business targets to maximize revenue contribution to DBS Treasures.
- Perform RI regulated activities and TR insurance activities
- Attend relevant training and briefings, reflect customer feedback and competitive insights, and recommend suggestions to BM / Team lead / CM.
(2) Relationship Building and Account Servicing
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to foster and deepen relationships, thereby reducing attrition.
- Update customers on the latest product and market information, account status, and conduct portfolio reviews to enhance product utilization, penetration, and increase share of wallet.
- Handle inquiries and execute financial transactions, orders, and operations for customers.
- Stay informed about current economic and financial markets to proficiently address customer Make cross-referrals for other consumer banking products to appropriate staff for follow-up.
(3) Customer Experience Management
- Deliver superior customer service and professional financial solutions through thorough financial needs analysis and planning, adapting to evolving customer needs.
- Achieve and exceed the service standards set by the Bank.
(4) Audit and Compliance Control
- Adhere to the bank’s policies, standards, operational guidelines/procedures, security, and internal control measures.
- Comply with all compliance and regulatory requirements and codes of conduct, particularly those applicable to selling, including licensing, fitness and properness, KYC, FNA, PDPO, AML and documentation completeness for account opening and each transaction.
- Comply with the registered capacity and any conditions imposed by the HKMA, including applicable requirements of the Code of Conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC.
(5) Teamwork
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to ensure team objectives are met, fostering harmony and unity within the team.
Requirements
1. A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in consumer banking, with a preference for specialization in the affluent segment.
2. A consistent and proven sales track record in wealth management products.
3. Degree holder, preferably in business or finance related discipline;
4. Must be a registered RI [Regulated Activities: Type 1 & 4] with passes in HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8; or equivalent; and
5. Must be a registered TR [General & Long Term (incl. linked long term)] with passes in IIQE papers 1, 2, 3 & 5; or equivalent.
[*New staff who does not possess the required general insurance qualification is required to pass the IIQE Paper 2 within three months after the commencement of service.]
6. Preferably a registered CI – CRWP (ECF-RWM).
7. CFP and CFA designation would be an advantage.
8. Possesses excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, an inquisitive mind, and a strong ability to influence others.
9. Demonstrates self-drive and high ambition.
10. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
11. Other competencies in accordance to rank and role based on competency matrix.
