Responsibilities:
Product Planning & Roadmap Management
Partner with Business Units, Technology teams, and stakeholders to define product scope, priorities, and release objectives.
Translate business requirements into product initiatives, epics, and user stories aligned with strategic goals.
Support release planning activities and ensure all dependencies, timelines, and delivery milestones are identified and managed.
Define sprint goals and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned to business value and regulatory requirements together with business stakeholders
Agile Product Ownership
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring all stories meet Definition of Ready (DoR) and INVEST principles.
Create, refine, and prioritize user stories with clear acceptance criteria together with Business Units, Technology teams, and other stakeholders
Conduct user story walkthroughs, backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Work closely with Project Managers, Developers, QA teams, UX Designers, and Business stakeholders to ensure successful sprint delivery.
Monitor sprint progress and proactively resolve delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies.
Customer Journey & Solution Design
Collaborate with UX teams to define and validate customer journeys and digital experiences.
Review and obtain stakeholder sign-off on customer journeys, business requirements, and functional specifications.
Testing & Quality Governance
Create and review test strategies, test plans, testing scope, device coverage, and test data requirements.
Work with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, including functional, integration, regression, automation, and UAT testing.
Validate test execution results and ensure defects are appropriately classified, prioritized, tracked, and resolved.
Ensure quality gates are met before moving stories to production readiness.
Drive automation adoption and optimize manual versus automated testing coverage.
Risk, Compliance & Control Management
Assess project risks and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are implemented.
Ensure adherence to security baselines, governance frameworks, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Release & Go-Live Management
Coordinate end-to-end release activities across Business, Technology, Operations, and external stakeholders.
Review release readiness criteria and provide UAT and production deployment signoffs.
Support launch verification activities, and production validation.
Coordinate issue resolution during production rollout and warranty support periods.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Provide regular updates on product delivery status, testing progress, release readiness, and key risks.
Facilitate decision-making and stakeholder alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Prepare executive-level updates and communicate delivery outcomes and business impact.
Requirements:
Experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Digital Banking, FinTech, or Technology Delivery.
Proven experience delivering large-scale digital banking initiatives using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Strong experience managing digital onboarding, payments, deposits, lending, cards, wealth management, or customer servicing journeys.
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through end-to-end product delivery lifecycles.
Strong knowledge of Agile delivery practices, backlog management, sprint planning, story refinement, and release management.\
Ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with INVEST principles.
Experience managing dependencies across multiple squads, systems, and stakeholders.
Strong understanding of release governance and production deployment processes.
Practical understanding of UAT, SIT, regression testing, automation testing, and release validation processes.
Experience creating test plans, test execution reports, defect management, and quality metrics.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and continuous delivery practices is preferred.
Strong capability in balancing speed-to-market with quality and risk controls.
Understanding of digital banking platforms, mobile banking, internet banking, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
Familiarity with customer onboarding, KYC, authentication, risk controls, and digital servicing journeys.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on technical solutions and architecture discussions.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile reporting tools, and delivery governance platforms.
