BIM Coordinator / MEP Modeler
About this role
The Role:
As a BIM Coordinator/MEP Modeler, you will work on high-value-added tasks in direct collaboration with engineers, supplier and contractors. Your primary mission will be to contribute to the construction of Data Centers. To achieve this, you will perform coordination and modeling across all project phases: design, execution, as-built, and potentially maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- MEP Schematics: Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP schematics is required. You must be capable of creating or updating schematics using AutoCAD or Revit.
- MEP Modeling: Ability to develop comprehensive MEP models from schematics, 2D plans, or initial drafts. You will be responsible for extracting Quantities (QTO) and adding all necessary parameters and metadata to the elements.
- Scan to BIM: Working knowledge of various 3D scanning technologies and processing software. You must be capable of utilizing Point Clouds (e.g., RCP, RCS files) to develop high-accuracy as-built Revit models.
- BIM Coordination Preparation: Experience in establishing Reference Models and preparing the coordination environment. This includes setting up Clash Detection tests and managing/tracking BIM issues through to resolution.
- BIM Coordination Meetings: Ability to lead coordination meetings, present findings, and propose technical solutions to resolve spatial conflicts (clashes) between the various 3D models.
- Architectural & Structural Modeling (Optional): Working knowledge of 3D architectural and structural modeling to support multi-disciplinary coordination.
Requirements:
We are looking for a committed, structured, and results-oriented professional. Ideally, you bring:
- Significant experience in BIM Modeling/BIM Coordination
- Strong skills in Revit, Navisworks, Infraworks, Forma (ACC/BIM360), Autocad, Revizto, 3D Scan, Dynamo, Office 365
- The ability to perform in a technical and demanding environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
