- Work with youth athletes, adults, and teams
- Lead group training sessions for youth, adults, and teams
- Provide personal training and individualized coaching when needed
- Teach proper form, technique, and movement mechanics
- Modify workouts to meet athletes at their current ability level
- Help athletes improve strength, speed, agility, conditioning, and overall performance
- Provide coaching cues, corrections, encouragement, and accountability throughout each session
- Build strong relationships with athletes and families
- Maintain a high-energy, positive, and professional training environment
- Start and finish sessions on time while maintaining consistent coaching standards
- Support member retention through exceptional coaching, accountability, and service
- Identify opportunities to support athletes through personal training and individualized coaching
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized training environment
- Participate in coach meetings, continuing education, camps, combines, and community events
- Follow D1 Training programming, safety standards, and coaching methodology
- 1+ year of experience in strength & conditioning, personal training, sports performance, or group fitness
- Strong understanding of exercise science, movement patterns, and safe exercise execution
- Ability to coach athletes of different ages, abilities, and experience levels
- High energy, positive attitude, and ability to motivate others
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Professional, dependable, and punctual
- Coachable and committed to continuous learning
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred
- Nationally recognized certification such as CSCS, NASM, NSCA, USAW, ACE, or similar preferred
- Evening and weekend availability required

D1 Training is a leading fitness concept that utilizes the five basic tenets of athletic-based training to help people of all ages achieve their sport and fitness goals.
All D1 Training locations offer four age-based programs including Rookie (ages 7-11), Developmental (ages 12-14), Prep (ages 15-18), and Adult (ages 18+). Each fitness program is based on the five athletic-based training tenets: dynamic warm-up, performance series, strength program, core and conditioning, and cool down. To ensure athletes are on track to meet sport and fitness goals new workouts are created every eight weeks by D1’s National Training Panel, led by Bartholomew, optimized for desired results. Outside of group workouts, D1 Training offers one-on-one training with world-class coaches which has been utilized by professional and Olympic athletes.
D1 Training currently has more than 170 open facilities with 250+ in development, and the brand expects more than 125 locations operating in the next three years.
