THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF…
- You want to run a business, not just a session.
- You’d rather own an outcome, retention, revenue, athlete progress, than check off a task list.
- You believe the best coaches are also the best closers, because they’ve earned the trust to be.
- You want to know every member’s name, goal, and progress by heart.
- A tight operation — clean data, sharp processes, a dialed-in staff — is genuinely satisfying to you.
- You see the admin, the CRM, and the numbers as “the boring part.”
- You want to coach and hand retention, sales, and the back office to someone else.
- “Business partner” sounds like more than you signed up for.
- The floor. You’re on it — coaching group sessions and 1:1 personal training every week. You set the energy, the standard, and the culture. You’re the face members see and the reason they come back.
- The members. You know them by name, by goal, by exactly where they are in their journey. You lead graduation check-ins — the sit-downs where you walk each athlete and their family through their TeamBuildr progress, celebrate the wins, and map the next phase. This is where re-ups and upgrades are won or lost, and it’s yours.
- Retention. You watch engagement like a hawk. You spot the member who’s slipping before they ghost, and you get them back. Churn is a number you take personally.
- Growth. Every assessment, trial, and check-in is a chance to grow the business. You convert trials, drive re-ups, and upsell into PT and premium packages — not with pressure, but with proof, using each athlete’s own data to show them what’s next.
- The numbers. Attendance, retention, class utilization, lead conversion, PT attach rate, revenue per member — you build the dashboard, read it weekly, and act on it. When ownership asks how the coaching product is performing, you already know.
- The team. You hire, train, schedule, and develop the coaching staff. You hold the line on coaching quality, communication, and professionalism. You’re the HR of your division, you build the bench and keep it sharp.
- The machine. Processes and SOPs, the CRM and scheduling system, TeamBuildr programming, and the tools and equipment on the floor. If something’s broken or sloppy, you fix it before it becomes a problem.
- Member retention & churn
- Re-up and upsell revenue (PT attach, package upgrades)
- Trial-to-member conversion
- Class utilization & attendance
- Coaching quality & staff performance
- Athlete progress against TeamBuildr benchmarks
