Fitness Sales & Business Development Manager
Expected total compensation: $50,000–$60,000+
Uncapped commission and performance bonuses
- Conduct membership consultations and close qualified prospects
- Recommend the appropriate membership or training solution based on each prospect’s goals
- Follow up with prospects who do not immediately enroll
- Reactivate former members and older sales opportunities
- Build relationships with schools, coaches, sports organizations and local businesses
- Develop team-training, corporate-wellness and community-partnership opportunities
- Prospect for new business through targeted calls, emails, visits and networking
- Attend local events and represent D1 Training Bryant in the community
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurate CRM records
- Work closely with the recruiter to improve appointment quality, show rates and conversions
- Track and report sales activity, pipeline opportunities and revenue results
- Maintain a 50% or better close rate on completed membership consultations
- Consistently follow up with every unclosed prospect
- Generate new membership and training revenue each month
- Conduct 5–10 new partnership conversations per week
- Schedule 2–4 partnership or team-training meetings per week
- Maintain an active pipeline of business, school and sports-organization opportunities
- Meet established monthly and quarterly revenue goals
- Maintain accurate daily CRM and sales reporting
- Full-time
- Generally Monday through Friday
- Flexible hours, typically 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
- Required evening coverage during peak appointment times
- Occasional community events, networking opportunities or weekend activities may be required
- $36,000 annual base salary
- Uncapped commission and performance bonuses
- Expected total annual compensation of $50,000–$60,000+
- Additional earning opportunities tied to memberships, training packages, team deals and business partnerships
- Your earnings increase directly with the revenue you generate
- The complete written compensation plan will be reviewed during the interview process
- Previous experience in sales, business development, membership sales, inside sales or another results-driven position
- Confidence conducting face-to-face and phone sales conversations
- Ability to build relationships with business owners, coaches, parents and community leaders
- Demonstrated ability to follow up consistently and ask directly for the sale
- Strong organization, time-management and CRM discipline
- Comfortable working in a goal-driven, high-accountability environment
- Available to work during peak evening sales hours
- Fitness, sports, automotive, wireless, home-services or consumer-sales experience
- Experience developing business partnerships or community relationships
- Experience selling recurring memberships, training packages or service agreements
- Existing relationships within the Bryant, Benton or Saline County community
- Enjoy competition and being measured against clear goals
- Build relationships quickly
- Are comfortable starting conversations with new people
- Follow up without needing to be reminded
- Can handle objections without becoming defensive

D1 Training is a leading fitness concept that utilizes the five basic tenets of athletic-based training to help people of all ages achieve their sport and fitness goals.
All D1 Training locations offer four age-based programs including Rookie (ages 7-11), Developmental (ages 12-14), Prep (ages 15-18), and Adult (ages 18+). Each fitness program is based on the five athletic-based training tenets: dynamic warm-up, performance series, strength program, core and conditioning, and cool down. To ensure athletes are on track to meet sport and fitness goals new workouts are created every eight weeks by D1’s National Training Panel, led by Bartholomew, optimized for desired results. Outside of group workouts, D1 Training offers one-on-one training with world-class coaches which has been utilized by professional and Olympic athletes.
D1 Training currently has more than 170 open facilities with 250+ in development, and the brand expects more than 125 locations operating in the next three years.
