We are a tech-enabled brand accelerator operating in home, lifestyle, and adjacent categories. Our proprietary platforms—Channel Gate and Freight Club—combine automation, AI, and more than two decades of ecommerce expertise to streamline multi-channel selling, increase operational efficiency, and drive scalable growth.
We support hundreds of partners across North America, helping them navigate and outperform within complex marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, BestBuy and more. Recognized as one of Canada's fastest-growing technology companies, Cymax Group fosters a high-performance culture built on grit, agility, and accountability.
About the Role
This is a hands-on commercial leadership role that blends sales, operations, project management, and team leadership. The Director of Account Management owns Cymax Group's vendor portfolio end-to-end: driving revenue and margin growth through direct sales execution, running the operational cadence that keeps the business healthy, and leading cross-functional projects that scale the partnership model.
This person must have strong AI expertise and drive its adoption across the team—using AI to identify vendor growth opportunities, sharpen negotiation and pricing decisions, and improve partnership outcomes as the portfolio scales.
We have learned that success in this role is not about sounding strategic—it's about executing daily. The ideal candidate knows how to build a vendor cadence, run a disciplined sales pipeline, manage projects to completion, and hold the details (pricing, catalog accuracy, timelines) to a high standard. They are as comfortable opening a vendor conversation and closing a deal as they are running a project plan or coaching their team through one.
This is a hybrid role, based out of our Gastown headquarters in Vancouver, BC, with up to 2 days per week in-office.

Negotiate Deals & Create Mutual Value
- Negotiate promotional programs, rebate agreements, volume discounts, and pricing exclusivities with partners.
- Proactively identify promotional opportunities and bring forward well-timed proposals that vendors want to say yes to.
- Structure win-win agreements that incentivize partners to prioritize Cymax Group while delivering margin improvement.
