About this role

The Vice President of Partnerships will lead SSU's collaboration efforts across the Sauder community, building and maintaining relationships with other clubs and services. This role involves identifying opportunities where SSU can support other organizations' events, coordinating partnership timelines, and working with the Marketing team on joint promotional material.

\nTime Commitment
Typically 3-5 hours per week, up to 5-10 hours per week in September
Term of Employment
August 2026 - April 2027
Main Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities where SSU can support other organizations' events

  • Establish partnerships with other services to increase SSU’s club presence

  • Communicate partnership plans to marketing team for the creation of promotional content

  • Maintain an ongoing record of active and prospective partnerships

Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to track multiple ongoing partnerships at once

  • Comfortable communicator in both professional and social settings

  • Willingness to support other organizations within the Sauder community

  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions and timelines

Anticipated Learning Outcomes
The Vice President of Partnerships will gain hands-on experience in relationship management, external communications, and cross-organizational event coordination, while developing negotiation and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced student service.
