About this role

The Vice President of Internal Affairs will foster relationships within Sauder, including CUS clubs, services, and programs. The role is focused on internal collaboration and ensuring SSU’s visibility and engagement across the broader student body.

\nTime Commitment
Typically 5 hours per week, up to 10 hours per week in September/January
Term of Employment
August 2026 - April 2027
Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain communication with CUS services and Sauder clubs

  • Coordinate SSU’s presence at CUS events

  • Help organize collaborative initiatives with internal groups

  • Promote SSU through internal communication channels

Qualifications
  • Comfortable engaging with different UBC services and clubs

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Organized and proactive

  • Interest in internal engagement and team culture

Anticipated Learning Outcomes
This role will offer practical experience in internal communications, stakeholder management, and team engagement - great for someone interested in HR or internal strategy.
