CuraLinc Healthcare is seeking a Formal Referral Specialist. This fully remote position is responsible for managing a caseload of Formal Referral cases from start until it closes.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Provide Guidance, Support, Consultation and Referrals to Employees, Employers, and Providers 
  • Manage a Caseload of Formal Referral Cases with Varying Levels of Clinical Acuity
  • Respond to occasional calls afterhours for FMR requests and Management Consults
  • Develop an Individualized Care Plan to Address the Unique Clinical and Sub-Clinical Needs for Each Employee
  • Facilitate Referrals and Assist Employees with Securing Appointments for Short-Term EAP Counseling 
  • Provide Mental Health Advocacy and Navigation to Participants in Need of Higher Levels of Care
  • Conduct Active Case Management Including Treatment Plan Reviews, Compliance Monitoring, and Consultation with Managers
  • Perform Timely Follow-Up with Employees to Ensure Compliance with Treatment Plans and Employee Engagement in Treatment 
  • Perform Timely Follow-up with Referring Managers and HR Representatives
  • Maintain Accurate and Complete Records in Compliance with HIPAA, Ethical and Departmental Guidelines

Required/Minimum Qualifications 

  • Master's Degree in a Mental Health Discipline (e.g. - Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
  • Relevant Post-Graduate Clinical Experience
  • Clinical Licensure
  • Strong Reasoning Ability – Capacity to Collect Data, Establish Facts, Define Problems and Draw Valid Conclusions
  • Excellent Time Management and Organizational Skills
  • Strong Attention to Detail and Ability to Manage Cases from Highly Specialized Accounts (i.e. DOT violations)
  • Ability to Work Independently and Fully Remote on a Caseload of 60+ FMR Cases
  • Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills 
  • Ability to Provide Management Consultation with Employers on Employee Disciplinary and Mental Health Concerns 
 

This is a full-time, hourly role, located in the continental United States and Hawaii, and includes a robust benefits package, with 100% company-paid single tier medical coverage insurance, PTO, 401(k) with match, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
