Warehouse Coordinator - Level II
About this role
The Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting domestic, import, and export logistics operations to ensure timely material availability and uninterrupted manufacturing operations. This role manages transportation, warehouse coordination, customs clearance activities, trade compliance requirements, inventory movement, and indirect procurement processes while collaborating with internal stakeholders, suppliers, freight forwarders, transporters, customs brokers, and external warehouse partners. The position supports operational excellence through effective logistics planning, inventory control, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Logistics Operations & Transportation Management- Manage end-to-end domestic, import, and export logistics operations to ensure timely movement of materials and products.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for shipment planning and execution.
- Monitor transportation performance, vehicle availability, delivery adherence, and logistics service levels.
- Support transportation mode selection and optimize freight costs while meeting business requirements.
- Resolve transportation and delivery issues to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
- Coordinate import and export documentation, customs clearance processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Work closely with customs authorities, customs house agents (CHAs), and logistics partners to ensure timely clearances.
- Ensure compliance with applicable trade regulations, customs duties, and import/export policies.
- Support audits and maintain accurate trade compliance documentation.
- Coordinate material receipt, storage, inventory movement, and dispatch activities.
- Manage external warehouse operations, including inventory monitoring, space utilization, and operational compliance.
- Perform inventory checks and support warehouse inventory control processes.
- Monitor stock levels and material availability to support production requirements.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and movement of materials.
- Support indirect purchasing activities, including purchase requisition (PR) and purchase order (PO) processing.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for logistics and operational requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and support cost control initiatives.
- Ensure timely procurement of logistics-related services and materials.
- Comply with all HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Report safety incidents, hazards, and environmental concerns promptly.
- Participate in and support HSE training programs and initiatives.
- Promote safe work practices and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
- Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Perform quality checks for incoming and outgoing materials and identify non-conforming materials.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and external stakeholders.
- Support business objectives through effective coordination and stakeholder management.
- Participate in training and development activities aligned with business and career goals.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational documentation.
