Technician – Electrical Field Service

We are looking for a talented Electrical Field Service Technician to join our Power Generation Team in Perth.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Apply documented procedures and policies to complete diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on power generation equipment in field-based environments, including preparing required parts and tools.
• Perform on-site disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of power generation systems.
• Assist with completing required documentation, such as work completed reports, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
• Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
• Maintain tools, service vehicles, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and proper operation.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation while working on customer sites, and report any issues/incidents to their supervisor.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Effective communication and accountability when working autonomously in the field.
• Strong problem-solving ability with nimble learning and planning skills.
• Commitment to health and safety in dynamic site environments.
• Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and electronic service tools.
• Knowledge of power generation systems, electrical fault finding, and product repair.
• Experience in service documentation, customer interaction, and technical escalation.
• Recognise the value of diverse perspectives.
