Project Manager - Supply Chain Planning

About this role

Manages, develops, and implements supply chain planning and order management projects of varying complexity and size. Partners with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and global stakeholders to define project objectives, establish plans and timelines, manage risks and resources, and deliver sustainable solutions. Acts as a subject matter expert in Oracle EBS Order Management, EDI, and related supply chain processes while driving continuous improvement, user adoption, and change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple supply chain planning and order management projects from inception through completion, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, objectives, timelines, and performance goals.
  • Deploy Order Management initiatives and projects in alignment with business priorities, agreed objectives, and timelines.
  • Facilitate project planning sessions with business and functional stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, resources, and success measures.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Partner with business, IT, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to design and implement sustainable global Order Management solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Oracle EBS Order Management, EDI, data management, Release Management (RLM), Processing Rules, CUM Management, and forecasting solutions.
  • Provide functional expertise across EDI transactions, including Planning (830), Sequenced (866), Shipping (862), Purchase Orders (850), Order Acknowledgment (855/865), Shipping ASN (856), and Invoicing (810).
  • Act as the Order Management process owner, supporting the end-to-end process from source systems through fulfillment at manufacturing plants.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective solutions and alternatives.
  • Monitor and communicate project status, key milestones, risks, issues, and performance to project sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Plan and monitor project budgets and resources to ensure effective utilization and successful delivery.
  • Identify appropriate resources for project activities and provide guidance, coaching, and developmental feedback to project team members.
  • Support user training, adoption, and change management activities for new processes, systems, and solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, customer experience, cost, inventory, and delivery performance.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and data evaluation to support project decisions and solution development.
  • Maintain project documentation, records, databases, lessons learned, and other project-related information.
  • Share project learnings and best practices with other teams to improve future project execution.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional and global teams across different time zones to deliver business and project objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and customers and ensure solutions are aligned with business and customer requirements.
