Project Manager - Supply Chain Planning

About this role

Manages, develops, and implements supply chain planning and order management projects of varying complexity and size. Partners with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define project objectives, establish plans and timelines, manage risks and resources, and deliver sustainable solutions. Acts as a subject matter expert in Oracle EBS Order Management, EDI, and related supply chain processes while driving continuous improvement and change management initiatives across global teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple supply chain planning and order management projects from initiation through successful completion, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timelines, and business objectives.
  • Facilitate project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to define scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, resources, and performance measures.
  • Deploy Order Management initiatives and projects in line with agreed objectives, priorities, and timelines.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT, supply chain, and global cross-functional teams to design and implement sustainable global order management solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Oracle EBS Order Management, EDI, Release Management (RLM), processing rules, CUM management, forecasting solutions, and data management.
  • Provide expertise across key EDI transactions, including Planning (830), Sequenced (866), Shipping (862), Purchase Orders (850), Order Acknowledgment (855/865), Shipment Notification (856), and Invoicing (810).
  • Act as an Order Management process owner, supporting the end-to-end flow from source systems through order fulfillment at plants.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, timelines, milestones, and resource plans; monitor progress and take corrective action to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and manage project risks and issues; work with stakeholders to develop alternatives and effective solutions.
  • Monitor and communicate project status, key risks, dependencies, issues, and performance to project sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Plan and monitor project budgets, resources, and other project requirements to support effective execution.
  • Identify and assign appropriate resources to project activities and provide guidance and coaching to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support user training, adoption, and change management activities associated with new processes, systems, and solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve supply chain performance, process efficiency, customer experience, cost, inventory, and delivery outcomes.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support project decisions and solution development.
  • Document project outcomes, lessons learned, process knowledge, and best practices and share them across teams.
  • Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams across different time zones to achieve project and business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers and stakeholders and ensure solutions address business and customer needs.
