About Cultivate Initiatives:

We are a group of people who work alongside those on the margins to empower individuals and communities through an inclusive range of services and support. We build communities from the inside out through community engagement and action, workforce development, housing, and sheltering.

This part-time position is limited to 6 months as part of our Employment Pathways. Candidates must have completed the Cultivate Initiatives Intern Program to be considered for this position.

Accountability:

  • Accountable to the Beautification Lead, Workforce Program Manager and Workforce Director

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide community beautification services such as graffiti removal, waste removal, and other services as requested
  • Maintain safety of self, team, and surroundings while providing services
  • Mandatory sobriety during working hours
  • Represent Cultivate Initiatives to various partners and community members
  • Participate in meetings and trainings
  • May participate in special projects and activities
  • May perform other duties as requested by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Being physically present in the CI offices from 8:30a.m.- 4:30 p.m., either Monday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Friday, and present for the 8:30am brief and 4:30pm debrief, unless otherwise approved by supervisor
  • Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Must be willing to use/learn work related communication tools like Slack and Gmail, this is non-negotiable.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Part time, non-exempt position starting at $20 hourly
