Quality Technician I - Quality Control

About this role

This position will require working in a manufacturing and distribution setting. Daily work will range from conducting incoming inspections, analyzing data, and verifying product acceptance on the residential and commercial system lines.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Incoming Inspection on raw materials and component parts for quality standard compliance and ensures that quality issues concerning production are effectively addressed.
  • Test C&I products or systems to measure performance.
  • Maintain, Issue, and follow up Non-Conformances and Corrective Actions Processes as needed.
  • Issue and follow up Non-Conformances and Corrective Actions as needed.
  • Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
  • Maintain C&I Calibration System.
  • Execute rework of product as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and quality records as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience. 
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of working experience and knowledge of Quality product inspection. Water treatment experience a plus.
  • Ability to use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures.
  • Ability to understand product drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to match packing slip information with actual product.
  • Experience using a computer, especially Microsoft Office. Experience working with SAP and Arena Solutions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Target Salary Range: $43,000 - 54,000 per year, paid hourly.  Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.  Full-time positions are eligible for competitive benefits, including: paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, disability benefits and 401(k).
