Job Summary: | This position performs work as a lead zone proctor supporting 24/7 maintenance operations across assigned facilities. The general maintenance program includes but is not limited to; preventative and corrective maintenance, emergency responses, and general building maintenance (HVACR, electrical, plumbing, minor repairs on building systems and infrastructure).
This position serves as a technical resource and lead for zone staff by assisting with task coordination, prioritization of work orders, and troubleshooting complex issues. They provide guidance, on-the-job training, and support to ensure consistency in maintenance practices and adherence to safety standards. This position’s normal work schedule is Monday to Friday during business hours, with occasional after-hours, weekend, or holiday assistance as needed.

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $4,955 - $5,946 per month. This position is eligible for overtime compensation. The above hiring range represents the university’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If you have prior state-classified service in the same class series as this position, your pay may be set at a higher amount per the state Step Pay Program implemented on July 1, 2024.
