Compensation: This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.
Course Facilitation: $62.25 - 199.75 per student completion based on whether the course is a micro-course or an online course. The compensation for in-person courses vary by course length.
- Course Development: $666.50 - $2,000 for course development based on whether the course is a micro-course or an online course. The compensation for in-person courses will vary based on the contact hours.

Work Location: Determined by course modality: in-person or online as determined by the course offering.
Summary
The College of Business at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of COB Academy Facilitators from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50%25 time) and will be made as courses are offered.
This position will teach and/or facilitate non-credit business courses through the COB Academy. COB Academy is a non-traditional, non-credit professional development and lifelong learning program for students, alumni, and community members through a micro-credential and certificate platform. Courses may be in-person or online, depending on the course offering.
Essential Functions
The duties and responsibilities of the position may include, but are not limited to:
Develop and design non-credit business courses for COB Academy.
Facilitate high-quality content to non-credit learners.
Facilitate student learning by providing guidance and timely responses to questions.
Create, maintain, and coordinate engaging learning experiences that support the achievement of desired learning outcomes.
Design and implement assessment and evaluation tools to measure student progress and achievement of course learning objectives.
Utilize learning management systems (e.g., Brightspace) to support course delivery, student engagement, and learning assessment, for online courses.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the College of Business.
This is a revolving COB Academy Facilitator Pool for the College of Business. If there is a course opening and your qualifications match a course and the minimum requirements, you may be contacted at that time.

- A completed bachelor’s degree in business, or a closely related field with a minimum of three (3) years professional experience in these areas. OR A completed master’s degree in business, or a closely related field with a minimum of one-year of professional industry experience in these areas is required.
- Applicants with prior and relevant teaching experience are preferred.
- A terminal degree (e.g. PhD, DBA, JD) is preferred.
