Job Summary: | As an important member of the community practice team, the Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant) will have clinical responsibilities, including outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital consultation. The Advanced Practice Provider will see a mix of inpatient day time GI consults at Highlands Ranch Hospital (HRH) in concern with one of the community practice physicians and outpatient clinic visits at the CU Medicine Clinic at the HRH Medical Office Building at least 4 days per week (8 half-days). The successful applicant for this position will be someone who communicates appropriately and effectively with patients, staff, consultants, and colleagues, has outstanding customer service skills, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Key Responsibilities: · Evaluation and management of GI disorders within the scope of a general gastroenterology advanced practice provider including: o GERD o Dysphagia o IBS/functional GI disorders o Constipation o Diarrhea o Gastrointestinal bleeding/iron deficiency anemia o Eosinophilic Esophagitis o Inflammatory Bowel Disease o Abnormal liver function tests o Liver cirrhosis o Pancreatitis o GI motility disorders | |
Work Location: | Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite, primarily in the attached medical office building at the Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, CO as well as the inpatient side of the hospital on occasion. | |

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: ● $110,000-$130,000 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
