Job Responsibilities:
As an Interaction Designer (IxD) Co-op, you are mentored by the IxD team to research, design, and help implement lift truck interfaces, warehouse management tools, and mobile applications with industry leading user experience. Tasks may include:
- Researching user needs, product requirements, competitive analysis, and industry trends.
- Conducting field research of users and products. May include on-site observation, interviews, filming and task analysis.
- Creating prototypes to design, test, and help develop new experiences.
- Collaborating with designers and other Crown departments to bring your ideas to life.
- Creating visual documentation to support software and Design System development.
Qualifications:
- Be enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interactive Media or Visual Design
- Good written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Work samples must exhibit good visual design skills. Include portfolio link with application
- Reliable transportation to travel locally between company locations during scheduled workday
