Technical Lead Embedded Software
About this role
YOUR MISSION
Lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers, ensuring excellence in quality, estimation, and delivery
Act as the key interface between system requirements and detailed software requirements
Drive embedded software development projects from planning through execution in a structured, results-oriented environment
Translate business and system needs into robust, scalable software solutions
Lead software sub-projects, including estimation, planning, resource coordination, risk management, and progress tracking
Support model-based development and automatic code generation for embedded targets
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Promote engineering best practices and continuously improve development processes
YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS
Proven experience in Embedded Software Development and successful project execution
Strong hands-on expertise with C++ in embedded environments
Advanced experience with Matlab/Simulink and model-based development
Proven track record leading engineers and driving delivery in technical projects
Strong experience in Requirements Engineering, translating system requirements into software specifications
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Fluent German and English
Knowledge of Confluence and Jira
Background in industrial products, automation, control systems, or HVAC-related technologies
