We are currently hiring Commercial Apprentice Electrician who is focused on completing their Journeyman requirements in the near future. If you're serious about becoming a licensed commercial electrician and have at least enrolled or completed a year electrical schooling, this is the opportunity for you.

Position: 2nd - 3rd Year - 4th year Apprentice Electrician – Commercial

As a apprentice, you’ll work on a variety of commercial projects only, taking on increasingly advanced responsibilities under the supervision of licensed Journeymen and Master Electricians. You’ll be expected to demonstrate a solid technical foundation, help lead junior apprentices, and actively prepare for the next step in your licensing journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Journeymen in layout, installation, and troubleshooting of commercial electrical systems

  • Independently install and bend conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC), pull wire, and terminate circuits

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

  • Perform panel terminations, switchgear installation, and lighting systems setup

  • Organize and maintain job site tools, materials, and equipment for efficient workflow

  • Comply with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards at all times

  • Actively log and track hours toward licensing requirements

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or completed 4th year of a certified electrical apprenticeship program

  • Minimum 1 year of electrical trade school completed

  • 2+ years of commercial electrical experience (no residential)

  • Actively working toward Colorado Journeyman Electrician license

  • Proficient with commercial conduit bending, panel work, and print reading

  • Understanding of NEC, OSHA standards, and general job site safety practices

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $23.00 – $27.00/hour (DOE)
