OVERVIEW

CAA Brand Management is currently seeking a Royalty Analyst to assist the commercial finance team in the royalty reporting process.  

Main Responsibilities to include, but limited to:

  • Collect royalty reports and sales projections from licensees.

  • Analyse reports for compliance to contractual obligations.

  • Calculate royalties and ensure complete, accurate and timely payment, including calculating commissions earned and liability to licensor.

  • Maintain internal sales & royalty databases.

  • Process accounts receivable and follow up on past due accounts.

  • Track and account for withholding tax.

  • Support Finance Team with client budgeting and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree with a business background preferred, or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years of post-university and/or professional work experience.

  • Superb organisation and time management skills, with an exceptional eye for attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate well with a broad spectrum of international and domestic clients.

  • Accounting/AP/AR experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, special emphasis on Excel.

  • Experience in the consumer product licensing industry is a plus, but not required.

  • Royalty Accounting experience and/or familiarity with royalty software preferred, but not required.

  • Self-motivated team player and able to prioritise and multi-task.
