The CAA Japan office is seeking a Summer Intern, Partnerships to assist the sales team. In this role, you will assist the Sports Executives with research, preparing presentations, and supporting business development activity with the ultimate aim of helping establish new partnerships for our Sports Property (teams, governing bodies) and Sports Talent clients. Some Property clients include Formula 1, Oracle Red Bull Racing, UEFA Euro, Chelsea Football Club, Riot Games League of Legends, T1, USTA, LIV Golf, LAFC; and Talent clients include some of the biggest names in sport.
This internship is a great launchpad into the sports and entertainment industry.

You will work alongside an experienced group of sports professionals, learn how the commercial sports industry works and make a direct contribution to CAA as well as its core clients.
Job Responsibilities:
General market research / analysis as required on: Clients, Industries, Brands, Contacts, Territories, Legislation.
Identifying brands to generate new business leads.
Creating new business pitch presentations.
Creating client meeting update presentations.
Providing general assistance to the team with ongoing projects for our broad client base.
Updating of internal communication systems.
Day-to-day support and general administrative support for the team.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a university degree program.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at a professional level in English and Japanese.
Interest in or exposure to working in Japan and Asia; familiarity with Japanese business culture is a plus.
Excellent organisational skills.
Must be meticulous and have an excellent eye for detail.
Ability to prioritise a busy workload and multi-task.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn how to identify & engage prospective brand partners and understand the marketing & partnerships industry.
Any prior internship, project, or extracurricular experience in sales, marketing, or client-facing roles is a plus.
