Who we are looking for:
Due to a demand in projects we are now looking for a User Researcher to come and join us on a perm basis. You will help advocate for users across a range of policy, digital product and service design projects, ensuring design decisions are informed by evidence and focused on user needs.
Working within an agile environment you will be responsible for designing and conducting user research.
Day to day, you will create research plans using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods, recruit and engage participants, facilitate research activities and workshops, analyse findings and communicate actionable insights that improve products and services.
Skills Required to successfully apply:
Experience conducting research using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviewing, running workshops and surveys.
Ability to select appropriate research methods based on research objectives.
Experience recruiting participants and conducting research ethically and inclusively.
Experience conducting research synthesis - Converting findings into clear, actionable insights.
Previous experience working in an Agile environment and in multidisciplinary teams
Advocating User Research with stakeholders
Ability to tailor communication styles to different audiences and communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
A commitment to User-Centred design and evidence-based decision making.
Ability to work within the UK with no restrictions
