JOB SUMMARY

The Construction Parts & Service Sales Representative establishes and maintains strong relationships with current customers, identifies new customers and follows up on potential leads. They proactively offer parts and service solutions to our customers and develop key working relationships with local trade associations and user groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and manage a territory of construction, industrial, municipal, oil and gas, and contractor customers.
Increase parts and service revenue through regular customer visits and account management.
Promote preventive maintenance agreements and planned maintenance programs.
Generate repair estimates and coordinate work with service managers and technicians.
Sell OEM and aftermarket replacement parts along with machine attachments
Follow up on completed repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for inspections, component rebuilds, and lifecycle maintenance.
Work closely with parts, service, rental, and equipment sales teams.
Prospect new customers while expanding existing accounts.
Maintain CRM records, quotations, and sales opportunities.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma is required. A college degree (ideally in business or in a related subject), trade school or relevant military experience is preferred
3+ years of heavy equipment, truck, industrial, or power generation sales experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

Strong attention to details and diligent follow-through
Solid working proficiencies with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Explorer, Power Point, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High integrity with strong customer focus

WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Demands/Work Environment

This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
