Purpose

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Event Management Intern to support the overall Admin team by assisting with logistics, providing essential back-end support, and ensuring seamless general coordination across all projects. The intern will play a key part in streamlining operational workflows, managing communications and handling the foundational details that ensure every event runs smoothly from planning to execution. Full-cycle event support, logistics, and coordination. Given the timeline, we need someone who can see projects through from inception to execution.

Job duties and accountabilities

Primary responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing CEEW's internal and external events
  • Support facilitating events on-site, ensuring a smooth flow of activities and guest experience
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers
  • Manage event logistics including registrations, guest handling, and scheduling
  • Assist in preparing event timelines, checklists, and budgets
  • Conduct research for venues, themes, and vendors
  • Handle on-ground coordination during events and resolve basic operational issues
  • Assist in post-event reporting and feedback collection

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace

Preferred Skills:

  • A go getter attitude!
  • 0-1-year experience in events management
  • Prior experience in creative writing/copywriting, editing, designing, secondary research and coordination
  • A strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills: strong spoken and written English, and a reasonable grasp of spoken and written Hindi
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • Ability to adhere to (and manage multiple) timelines

Compensation

Competitive compensation – commensurate to the experience and matching the best of standards adopted by the industry or other similar organisations for similar roles.
