Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient, safe, and organized operations. This position coordinates the movement of inventory, vehicles, equipment, and materials to meet company project needs while maintaining compliance with all safety and operational policies. The Warehouse Manager is accountable for warehouse inventory management, financial oversight of warehouse operations, and inventory-related project costing. This role partners with other departments to ensure vehicles, equipment, and supplies are ready for deployment and that the warehouse operates smoothly and effectively. Although this position has no direct reports, it provides operational leadership and coordination across warehouse activities.


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring materials and equipment are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Coordinate warehouse workflow to meet project and departmental needs.
  • Schedule and monitor warehouse activities to ensure proper coverage and timely task completion.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to align warehouse operations with project timelines and priorities.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly loaded, equipped, and ready for deployment to job sites.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs with the Fleet and Maintenance departments.
  • Manage all warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate inventory levels, established inventory control processes, and proper documentation for incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Oversee warehouse financial activities related to inventory, including inventory rebuilds, inventory reconciliation, and accurately coding inventory costs to projects.
  • Perform inspections of warehouse equipment and vehicles to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with company safety standards.
  • Monitor warehouse equipment and material usage to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost control.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and other departments to maintain appropriate inventory levels and support operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records, reports, and documentation.
  • Assist with process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.


What You Bring to the Table

  • 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics operations experience required.
  • Experience coordinating warehouse activities and inventory control preferred.
  • Familiarity with fleet or equipment management a plus.
  • Experience using warehouse or inventory management software preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (Certification preferred)
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus
