Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role, with rotating shifts. The clinics are open Monday-Thursday 9AM-8PM and Friday & Saturdays from 9AM-6PM.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cosmetic and aesthetic procedures and treatments involving the skin, face, and body;
- Promote client retention through consistent, detailed, and timely follow-up communications and care;
- Provide client education, instructions, and counseling related to aesthetic procedures, outcomes, and aftercare;
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the image and standards of the practice;
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities as required;
- Represent the practice with integrity and discretion in all patient and community interactions.
- Assist other providers with their clients and the practice's needs as directed;
- Assist and support CPP's and the practice's support team as directed;
- Demonstrate brand loyalty and promotion of the business as an individual and as a team member;
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with applicable practice policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements;
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance policies and protocols to protect patients, staff, and the work environment;
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and professional regulations, including ongoing monitoring of new or revised legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the position; and
- Maintain professional competency by participating in continuing education programs, reviewing relevant literature, and collaborating with colleagues to stay informed of developments in aesthetics as an aesthetician.
Qualifications:
- Valid NY Esthetician License.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the aesthetics field, with a proven track record of building and maintaining a loyal client base.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, educate them on treatments, and provide clear follow-through on their care plans.
- Experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery environment is preferred.
- Proficient in performing consultations, cross-promoting services and skincare products, and demonstrating the ability to close sales effectively.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of treatments, including facials, chemical peels, Dermaplaning, and advanced procedures such as cosmetic lasers, light-based therapy, micro-needling, and/or CoolSculpting.
- Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatment protocols to recommend the best options for each client’s unique needs.
