THE POSITION: HOST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Greet all Smith guests by being attentive to them as soon as they walk through the door

·       Create a welcome environment for guests, and when appropriate, refer to guests by their names.

·       Say yes! Always try to find ways to accommodate a request.

·       Guide guests to their tables with menus.

·       Manage the floor plan and pay special attention to reservations and ensure they are seated in a timely manner.

·       Clean, organize, and stock menus at the host area. 

·       Answer phone calls and answer questions concerning the menu and the restaurant.

·       Observe the entire dining experience, ensuring that every moment exceeds expectations
