Role Overview

The Signing Supervisor role at Cornel’s will be involved in estimating, installation, and servicing of electrical systems. This role will build this new department and manage the team as it grows.

Full-time, part-time hybrid possibility with CEO approval.

Responsibilities

Build & Develop

Build a new electrical team, including processes, training support teams, recruiting licensed electricians, parts list creation, truck buildout, pricing, etc.
Develop and manage the electrical team as it grows.
Act as a real-time point of contact for technicians, keeping them aligned and supported in the field.
Work closely with managers to identify training opportunities and elevate team capability.
Sign all permits and comply with corrective notices.
Ensure all electrical installations meet minimum safety standards.

Hit Your Targets

Drive higher average tickets, close rates, and option averages through consistent call-by-call engagement once department is fully operational.
Contribute daily to revenue targets and KPI achievement across the department.
Create an electrical team to mirror the growth of the company.
Repair and maintain electrical systems while supporting other departments

QualificationsQualifications

Valid Oregon General Supervising Electrical License or qualifications to become one

Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E/99, and Oregon Electrical Specialty Codes

5+ years of hands-on experience as a licensed Journeyman Electrician

Ability to read complex blueprints, direct teams, and use administrative computer systems

Valid driver’s license

Strong communication skills

Physical requirements

Standing and walking for long periods of time in customer homes.

Climbing ladders and stairs

Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. of tools and material

Bending, crouching, kneeling in tight spaces

Fine motor skills

Clear color vision
