OUR OPPORTUNITY

The ETL Developer supports existing integration pipelines while building, migrating, optimizing, and validating target-state ETL/ELT pipelines.

YOU WILL

  • Maintain and support existing ETL pipelines across Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Oracle procedures, or other tools.
  • Analyze current pipeline logic, dependencies, schedules, transformations, and failure points.
  • Document existing source-to-target mappings and transformation rules.
  • Build new target-state pipelines using approved ETL/ELT technologies.
  • Migrate selected legacy ETL logic into modern pipelines.
  • Implement batch, incremental, CDC, and streaming ingestion patterns.
  • Develop cleansing, validation, enrichment, and error-handling logic.
  • Support data reconciliation between current and target platforms.
  • Optimize pipeline performance and reduce redundant data movement.
  • Implement audit logging, exception handling, monitoring, and restartability.
  • Support decommissioning of legacy ETL jobs after successful migration. 


Requirements

  • TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED

  • Strong SQL and database experience.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, ODI, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar.
  • Understanding of DWH, ODS, staging, lakehouse, and data mart patterns.
  • Experience with batch loads, incremental loads, CDC, SCD handling, and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of data quality rules, audit logging, error handling, and job monitoring.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms, Spark, dbt, or lakehouse technologies is preferred.
