Operations Assistant
About this role
As Operations Assistant at Convexia, you'll serve as the quality-control bridge between the company's AI systems and the real-world drug licensing decisions they support. Working directly with the founding team of this AI-first pharma startup, you'll ensure the data pipeline remains accurate and reliable in a fast-moving, high-trust environment. This is a detail-driven role for someone who takes pride in catching what others miss and thrives working independently.
What youll do
- Run structured prompts through external LLMs like ChatGPT and Perplexity to benchmark outputs against Convexia's internal agents and surface missed drug assets.
- Deduplicate, organize, and cross-reference results from internal and external sources to ensure completeness and accuracy across all outputs.
- Document gaps, discrepancies, and patterns discovered during benchmarking, delivering clear, actionable feedback directly to the founding team.
- Support daily operations including UI/UX review, prompt optimization, and general administrative tasks as the company scales.
What Convexia is looking for
- 2+ years in an operations, research, or data-focused role.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to execute repetitive, process-driven tasks with high accuracy.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, async environment with availability to work in the PST timezone.
- Experience conducting UI/UX reviews of tooling and interfaces, providing actionable design feedback to improve usability and data workflows.
- Experience in pharma, biotech, or life sciences is a plus, as is familiarity with data deduplication, QA workflows, or prompt engineering.
