About this role
Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, SOPs, and safety management systems.
Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, State Factory Rules, Pollution Control Board requirements, Hazardous Waste Rules, MSIHC Rules, and other applicable regulations.
Maintain compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
Conduct HIRA, JSA, HAZOP, What-if Analysis, and Process Risk Assessments.
Review Management of Change (MOC) for new processes, equipment, and utilities.
Ensure implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) practices for API operations.
Monitor ETP, STP, scrubbers, VOC control systems, hazardous waste disposal, emissions, and wastewater management.
Coordinate environmental monitoring of air, water, noise, and stack emissions.
Liaise with Pollution Control Board and other regulatory authorities.
