Job Description
Execution of Engineering Projects
▪ Develop Concepts for new machinery and equipment
▪ Plan Budget and Ressourcers for Project
▪ Preparation of Capital Requests and specifications
▪ Plan, monitor and report timeline
▪ Prepare supplier negotiations with technical comparsion of different quotations
▪ Performing different tests and Factory Acceptance tests at suppliers
▪ Installation, commissioning, validation and handover to production of production machines, automation technology, parts and lines as well as preparation of documentation
▪ Apply CBS methods for continuous improvements
▪ Ensuring operation of new machines is according global laws and technical rules, e. g. CAG
▪ Ensuring use of most developed cost optimized (in regard to total cost of ownership) technical solutions within projects performed in alignment with plants
▪ Ensuring alignment to Continental/ContiTech/SSL strategy and standards
Monitoring and Reporting
▪ Monitor and report the project related key figures
Training and Qualification
▪ Ensure a high knowledge/expertise and qualification in term ESH regulations, CBS methods and manufacturing processes
Communication & Information
▪ Sharing best practices and lessons learned
▪ Develope and maintain internal network
Qualifications
Education / Certification
▪ university degree, preferably in production or engineering management, industrial engineering or related discipline
Professional Experience
(Variety of Functions, Variety of Business, General Management Experience)▪ 1 or more years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering and project management.
▪ cross functional experience e.g. in maintenance, production, quality, supply chain or CBS preferred
Project and/or Process Experience
▪ comprehensive experience in rubber and/or plastic production processes
▪ experience in the roll-out of standards and/or strategic projects
▪ experience in execution of projects in manufacturing/production environment
Leadership Experience
▪ experiences leading a project team with functional responsibility for other individuals
Intercultural / International Experience
▪ experience in working with international teams and understanding of foreign cultures
▪ proficient in minimum 2 languages, English is mandatory
