The Information Technology Intern will support the enterprise thru hands-on solution development and/or support in one of the following areas: IT Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, or IT Security.
Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to working on a summer project, the IT intern will also have the opportunity to:
Meet with internal CLR customers to document specific business and technical requirements
Design and model a solution that meets the needs of the documented requirements
Develop a task plan that shows both individual and external tasks to develop a solution to meet the needs of the customer
Create a prototype of the proposed solution
Develop IT processes and operational documentation based on infrastructure and system requirements
Participate in or lead project planning sessions
Troubleshoot technical or business system issues providing root cause identification and resolution
Create technical designs based on gathered requirements
Develop system modules and solutions based on gathered requirements
Provide end user training and support
Other duties as assigned

Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Strong customer focus and a team player
Effective time management
Required Qualifications
Current enrollment in an accredited four (4) year College or University
Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
Eligible to work permanently in the United States upon graduation
An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Any IT related development or support experience
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
